On January 27, 2017 only seven days after Donald J Trump was sworn into office as the 45th President of the United States he signed an Executive Order on Immigration which imposed a ban on travel from seven Muslim predominant nations namely Yemen, Iraq, Syria, Iran, Somalia, Sudan and Libya 90 days. In this period he called for a new vetting protocol and system which must be devised for screening refugees who intend to enter the United States who are fleeing persecution in those areas. The new vetting system he says needs to be able to identify and keep out radical Islamic terrorist who could pose as refugees and enter the U.S. to carry out acts of terrorism.
Even though many Trump supports praised his actions and claims he is only holding true to his campaign promises to Deport more than 11 million Illegal Immigrants, to Build a Wall along the United States- Mexico Border which Mexico would pay for, to secure the American borders and keep its Citizens safe in an effort to "Make America Great Again" which was his campaign tagline and what many says helped motivated millions of people to vote in his favors in the November 2016 Elections. Others were quick to point out that the countries he issued the ban for in his Executive Orders played no part in the Terrorist Attacks such as 9/11 and other attacks prior to that. Thousands of people took to Airports and to the streets in several states after people travelling from the Listed Countries who had valid United States Visas and others who where Legal Permanent Residents/Green Card Holders which were issued by the United States and others who were Dual Citizens where prevented from boarding flights to the United States or were detained upon arrival to be additionally screened and potentially returned to these countries.
As news spread of the implications of the President's Executive Order, Lawyers started filing lawsuits on behalf of the people detained which lead to Judges across the Nation granting "Stay" blocking the return of people already being detained in airports across the Nation from return to these countries if they had valid United States Visas, were Green Card Holders, United States Citizens or if they had been accepted as Refugees. As a result of this ruling some people who were detained where released even though the Stay does not guarantee their release only the prevention of return to the banned countries.
Senators and other high ranking officials took to various social media outlets to condemn the Presidents actions saying that this is not the values that America was built on and many made reference to the words on the Statue of Liberty " Give me your tired, your poor, Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free, The wretched refuse of your teeming shore. Send these, the homeless, tempest-tossed to me, I lift my lamp beside the golden door." People took to Twitter, and Facebook tagging the President and other White House Delegates in tweets and posts denouncing President's Trumps Action saying his decision could bring grave harm to the American People as Terror Groups could use this as an opportunity to recruit more people to their organizations with claims that this is a vivid example of United States war on Islam which has been the claims that they use to drive their attacks. Some say it will put doubts in the minds of thousands of people in these troubled areas who help U.S. Intelligence and Soldiers to fight the war on terrorism as they will now fear they will not be granted asylum in the United States and will in-turn be slaughtered along with their families for helping the U.S.
In the late hours of Sunday January 29, 2017 President Trump took to twitter posting :
He gave a statement in this link on facebook
https://t.co/f6JO60I0Ul which read

“America is a proud nation of immigrants and we will continue to show compassion to those fleeing oppression, but we will do so while protecting our own citizens and border. America has always been the land of the free and home of the brave.
We will keep it free and keep it safe, as the media knows, but refuses to say. My policy is similar to what President Obama did in 2011 when he banned visas for refugees from Iraq for six months. The seven countries named in the Executive Order are the same countries previously identified by the Obama administration as sources of terror. To be clear, this is not a Muslim ban, as the media is falsely reporting.
This is not about religion - this is about terror and keeping our country safe. There are over 40 different countries worldwide that are majority Muslim that are not affected by this order. We will again be issuing visas to all countries once we are sure we have reviewed and implemented the most secure policies over the next 90 days.
I have tremendous feeling for the people involved in this horrific humanitarian crisis in Syria. My first priority will always be to protect and serve our country, but as President I will find ways to help all those who are suffering.”
In the comments section of his post People continued to condemn the President's actions referring to it as unconstitutional and compared him to some of the cruelest dictators in World History while orders Lorded him for his actions.
As Writers and Reporters Worldwide document the current developments under the new Trump Administration many people make their speculations that President Trump may go down in history as the most hated and worst President ever to be elected, while one group started on Impeach Trump Campaign.
Many claim America is now the laughing stock of the entire World and that the tides might soon turn and American Citizens are banned from entering other countries. Some question his intent of insinuating that the United States might patch things up with Russia along with many other plans that he has with regards to running the country and his decision to appoint one of his campaign managers Stephen Bannon as his Chief Strategist and Senior Counselor who according to the Washington Post in this article: here is the former Chairman of Breitbart which is a website promoting racist, misogynist and Islamophobic perspectives!
As President Trump continues his Presidency base on what we have seen in his first 9 days of Leadership we can only assume there will be continual protest with people chanting NOT MY PRESIDENT and RESIST-RESIST along with other statements condemning him as he signs more Executive Orders and move to change the Laws that Govern this Nation, if there is no shift in his Agenda whatever it is. An Agenda which most claim is a White Supremacist Agenda while others claim he is the Most Fearsome Leader the Country has ever seen. As the clocks turn however everyone will get an opportunity to make their own claims as they are affected weather positively or adversely by the decisions that President Trump will make in what he will categorize as the best choices for AMERICA and AMERICANS.
In my next article I will be discussing at-least 16 events that changed the course of history. I look forward to sharing it with you and also to hearing from you.
