She loved him deeply and of course she should,
He had loved her unconditionally,
He refused to leave her even when he could.
He had joined her on her journey with the purest intent
He never could rest easy if she was not content.
When she was broken and wanted to be alone,
He had been that Sage that kept her on her Throne,
He had been that Ora that balanced her Crown.
When her heart was bitter for those who had promised to stay had left,
He had stood beside her telling her it wasn't her fault for she was the best.
He had been her pillow many nights when no one else was in sight.
He had told her that he loved her,
She was dear to him like life itself,
And even-though she refused to accept it,
It was always evident.
He missed no opportunity to rescue her,
Even when she had done him wrong.
He saved her many times when others had left her to hang.
Sometimes he felt as if he would never have her heart,
But a life without her would never cross his thoughts,
So he fought to show her that he was the best man there could be,
He often told her "No man can love you more than me."
But she was caught up on what she believed to be ideal,
Notions that always lead her to defeat.
He though kept on going no matter how much he felt hurt,
He believed one day he would have her love
Even if it wasn't on this earth.
