It is something I am sure no one saw coming Verizon announced its own smartwatch today, Verizon has partnered with Quanta to produce their very own smartwatch called Wear24. I have to say its strikingly beautiful from the render provided, it seems Verizon may have found the perfect middle ground between functionality and style. The device is LTE equipped with a 1.39-inch AMOLED display (290ppi), 450MAh battery, IP67 dust and water resistance. The Wear24 has NFC for Android Pay and with all of these features it still has a lower price tag than the current high end smartwatches on the market.
The Wear24 is the first Smartwatch device that the company has sold under its own banner. We will be on the lookout for pictures and videos of it in the wild. Verizon said to expect the release of the Wear24 in March 2017 for $299 on a 2-year contract.
